Part of The Micheldever Group, Protyre is a leading UK automotive company. The UK’s leading tyre specialists, Protyre is also the country’s largest independent chain of fast fit and mechanical centres with a growing network of more than 180 branches nationwide.
In need of full-service digital marketing support to help grow their website, Protyre was looking to drive brand awareness and increase relevant traffic and sales online. The client needed a combined organic and paid strategy that would get the site seen and heard by the right audiences. This needed to include technical and on page SEO, content marketing, digital PR, and PPC advertising.
Operating in a competitive online marketplace, Protyre needed an integrated digital marketing strategy that would put their brand front and centre for their audiences in both organic and paid search. This required a cross-channel digital marketing approach with joined up thinking across SEO, PPC, Content and Digital PR.
Working closely with Protyre, we assigned experienced SEO, PPC, and PR specialists to their account. Taking an evidence-led approach, we worked together to mine keyword search data and the site’s metrics to reveal the most significant search opportunities, with our On Page recommendations moving the needle for their site’s traffic. We also looked at technical SEO changes and our PR and content teams worked together to generate national media coverage and quality backlinks.
Our PPC experts worked hard to better optimise and manage their Paid ads. From remarketing and retargeting to better Paid ads across a number of platforms, we implemented strategies to improve ROI and audience targeting. Our SEOs then worked with Protyre to ensure landing pages were properly optimised for search. We also produced an ‘MOT Hotspots’ campaign, with a bespoke and interactive landing page asset and a series of PR stories that were pitched to national media to drive traffic, links, and brand awareness.
Our work helped drive a massive 242% rise in organic traffic since we started work on their site. In addition to significant improvements in keyword rankings, the PR also generated significant media placements and backlinks, including in the Daily Express, The Sun, Motor1, AM Online, Tyrepress, and many others. Our Paid Search work improved traffic and targeting – with a 97% rise in clicks to site from Paid social ads and a 28% uplift in PPC conversions. CPCs (cost per click) were also reduced across their Paid ads, driving better value and targeting for their ads budget.
