The Boiler Company needed a digital marketing agency partner that could deliver for them, providing relevant traffic and leads through a combination of digital marketing channels – including SEO, content marketing, and PR.
With ambitious marketing goals, we knew we needed to act fast and utilise a number of digital marketing channels. Standing out in a crowded marketplace, with plenty of competition for the top keywords from some of the nation’s biggest brands, we knew it would require hard work. But our SEO and organic marketing teams were more than up for the challenge!
We started with a strategy meeting between key players in our SEO, content marketing, and PR teams. Alongside the client, we decided on an integrated digital marketing strategy that would put their brand front and centre in the boiler cover and insurance market. This included a full roadmap of technical SEO and On Page SEO tasks, as well as a calendar for regular new content production. We also set in motion digital PR campaigns to raise brand awareness and strengthen the site’s authority in the SERPs.
Following our initial SEO research, we were able to identify the areas of work that would move the needle fastest. Our digital specialists sprung into action, with a range of onsite changes that included new content creation, changes to on page copy to better target the site for more relevant keywords, and site updates to improve its technical health. We also mined in-house data, combined with exclusive third party data from the Office of National Statistics, to create PR stories that would propel the brand in key national and trade media. This included multiple press releases and national media sell ins.
During our latest project for the Boiler Company, estimated Organic users increased by 150.4%, while organic sessions over the same period rose 127.11%. In addition, our PR work was a success for the Boiler Company too, securing a plethora of quality and topically relevant backlinks and media placements – including in outlets such as the Daily Express, PHAM News, House Beautiful, Real Homes, HVP, Plumbing Trade, and many others.
