Aura Technology needed Koozai to support with their organic search marketing, with a brief that focused on driving relevant traffic and leads via SEO, content marketing, and digital PR.
Our challenge was to help Aura Technology to stand out online in a competitive marketplace and to get their website ranking for lucrative, sought-after keywords in the managed IT services space. As well as targeting keywords with a high commercial intent, we also needed to implement a strategy that would gain their brand greater awareness among target customers regionally via content marketing and PR.
We started our work with a comprehensive technical SEO audit and content strategy work, including a thorough competitor analysis, content gap analysis, and a site-wide content audit. This foundational work allowed us to make recommendations and implement work across the site to improve its Technical and On Page health. Through extensive keyword research and a rankings review we were also able to identify the ‘quick wins’ and onsite improvements that would help their site move the needle towards better and more relevant search traffic.
We worked closely with Aura Technology to implement Technical changes and On Page recommendations across the site. With our earlier work also identifying opportunity to strengthen the authority of the site, and therefore it’s potential performance in search engine rankings, we brought in our PR team to support. They were tasked with running digital PR campaigns to build the site high quality, topically relevant backlinks that would drive direct traffic and help the site to perform better in search engines. In addition to SEO support, the PR team was also key in driving media coverage for Aura Technology, helping to instigate WOM and strengthen brand awareness. This included a number of niche PR campaigns targeted at regional and specialist business press.
Our work across SEO and content helped to drive a 93% rise in estimated organic search traffic, with improved keyword targeting and ranking across their landing pages. Our PR activity was a success too, with a plethora of high quality, topically relevant backlinks and media coverage in key regional titles such as the Portsmouth News, the Southern Daily Echo, Business Insider, the Business Magazine, HR News, the Business Leader, Business Mole, SME News, the Hampshire Chronicle, Comms Dealer, Insider Media, and many others.
